This is an original acrylic painting that created for the first Art Challenge at "
Rendition Me This"
The painting used for this art challenge was a painting I did years ago, "Garden Scents."
Every year
EBSQ holds an annual "Ripped Off" exhibit in which an artist pairs up with another artist (at
EBSQ.) The artists then go through each others portfolios and choose a piece of their art to "rip off." Each artist then creates a new piece of artwork in their style. I absolutely love this idea and this is the idea behind this art challenge blog,
Rendition Me This. The challenge will be once every month and artists will work from one piece of art.
All artwork should be sent to me at
danamarieart@gmail.com, and should consist of an attachment of a good quality jpg image, cropped to show nothing but the artwork. I will not post out of focus, poor quality photographs.
Make sure your name and website/blog address are included with your submission. Also be sure to include "Rendition Me This" in the subject line. No large file sizes please. Do not exceed 1000 pixels on the widest side. Please keep the resolution to 72 also. Thanks.
Three pieces of artwork per artist per art challenge will be allowed.
