November Works in Progress

This is a miniature painting (4" X 4") that I painted with the idea of creating a larger piece. I like to paint small (even my 1" pendant pieces) to play out ideas that I have for paintings. Some work, some don't.

This is a 24" X 24" piece that is close to being finished.  There is just a few things I'd like to change before calling it "done."

This is a 10" X 10" and it too is really closed to being done.  I wish I would had created this piece on a 24" X 24" or larger....perhaps next time.

Well, that's a few of the pieces I am working on.

Have a wonderful day!

Blue and Black Checker Tree ~ Wearable Art by Dana Marie

                                                     Blue and Black Checker Tree

Wearable Art by Dana Marie

We recently moved and I have yet to locate my gunmetal chain necklaces that I usually use with the antiqued silver I used the black ribbon necklace instead. I like it with the black ribbon, but I will be searching through boxes later today to locate the gunmetal one.

I found the irregular lines and coloration more interesting than if I had created clean lines.  It was difficult to leave as I am forever cleaning up lines, but I really like this one on.  I feel like if I sat under that tree I might see the white rabbit.

I have a few paintings I'm finishing up that I will be posting soon!
